Artificial Intelligence Institute develops core technologies in the field of artificial intelligence. By activating the artificial intelligence ecosystem, acting as a bridge between academic research and the needs of the industry, and as emphasized in the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy Document, in the discovery of pioneering, inclusive and sustainable solutions, technologies and products that respond to our country's needs and global trends, playing a catalytic and complementary role in building the workforce is AI's raison d'etre.

Competence Centers
Competence Centers are structures where different research departments gather around a thematic area and coordinate their work. By bringing together researchers working in different research departments, research teams are formed. Competence centers performs the necessary coordination for the research departments to coordinate the subjects they work with. It is aimed that these centers will be used for pre-competitive cooperation and to work with stakeholders to determine the focus of the researchers. It is aimed that external stakeholders will establish communication and cooperation with field-oriented Competence Centers instead of communicating directly with the research departments, creating an advantage in terms of collaborations to be established.
