B3LAB – Safir Cloud
Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Laboratory (B3LAB) offers its users a secure, flexible, highly accessible, scalable and easy-to-manage cloud computing infrastructure with Safir Cloud solutions. Based on the open source OpenStack Pike version developed by NASA and Rackspace, Safir Cloud provides platform services and software services in addition to standard infrastructure services, and customized services can be developed in line with the needs of institutions.
- People who want to use Safir Bulut (Cloud) can register themselves to the system via the Safir Cloud Login Screen without applying anywhere.
- With Safir Cloud Monitoring Service, both Safir Bulut system administrators and individual users can monitor the use cases of related IT infrastructure resources and take necessary actions.
- In order to monitor system-wide resource usage and ensure fair use, a credit-based billing solution is offered through Safir Billing Service.
- Users are informed about the usage on a weekly basis via e-mail. A more efficient and green data center management is provided by shutting down/sleeping unused resources.
- There is Safir Auto Scaling Service, which provides automatic scaling of cloud infrastructure by learning resource usage rates according to metrics formed on Safir Bulut Monitoring Service and predicting future needs. Safir Green Calculation Service (Scheduler ENhanced) is provided, which reduces energy consumption by putting redundant machines to sleep.
- In order to facilitate the transition between different OpenStack versions and accelerate the transition process, Safir OpenStack Migration Service (O2O migrator) is offered and projects, users, virtual machines and block storage areas can be easily moved between the two systems.
- With Safir VMware-OpenStack Migration Service, virtual machine and block storage areas can be automatically migrated between two systems.
- With the Safir Quick Start Screen, users can easily perform the features they use all the time, such as creating virtual machines and creating virtual disks, as well as creating large data and container clusters that are complex to use. In addition, the needs related to DevOps service can be provided through this screen.
- With Safir Automatic Snapshot Service, it is possible to take a snapshot of the virtual machines created on Safir Cloud at periods specified by the user, and to easily return to this copy later.

B3LAB - Safir Storage
Developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Laboratory (B3LAB), Safir Storage(Safir Depo) is a national and secure cloud object storage application. The objects stored on Safir Storage can be accessed from anywhere at any time via smartphones, tablets or computers over the internet.
File operations such as folderization, moving, renaming can be performed on all kinds of files such as documents, audio, photos, videos uploaded to Safir Storage, as well as online viewing, editing and versioning of office documents via LibreOffice Online/OnlyOffice. Thanks to the object sharing feature, files/folders in Safir Storage can be easily shared with anyone and office documents can be edited jointly. Safir Storage members can create groups with other Safir Storage members using group management functions and share files/folders with these groups.
In Safir Storage, which offers smart service add-ons with machine learning capabilities, analysis operations can be performed on uploaded documents, images and videos. Documents shared in Safir Storage can be classified by labeling them according to their word density, and document summaries can be extracted. Virus scans can be performed on uploaded executable files and the user can be informed before downloading infected files. With the version comparison feature, changes in different versions of text files can be viewed and the percentage of difference can be determined. Images and videos stored in Safir Warehouse can be labeled and classified according to their image/sequence content.
In addition to the Safir Storage web client, there are desktop and mobile clients, and Safir Storage desktop clients offer the ability to work offline.
For files and folders, all clients have end-to-end cryptographic encryption capability with a distributed key architecture. Thanks to this unique capability, no one other than the user (including system administrators) can access the entire key and access encrypted shares. Safir Storage allows security services and trusted service authority to come together to generate the user key if needed, thus preventing data loss. In secure storage, files and folders are encrypted on the client side and stored fully encrypted on the network and in the cloud. In addition to encrypting the user's personal files/folders, encrypted file/folder sharing with other users and groups can be realized.
Built on open source and highly available cloud technologies, Safir Storage has a rapidly adaptable and widely scalable structure.
B3LAB - Safir DevOps
The Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Laboratory (B3LAB) Safir DevOps solution provides the environments, services and tools required during the software development process and software operation process on the Safir Cloud to software development and software operation teams, enabling fast and smooth operation of DevOps activities in software projects.

B3LAB - Safir Intelligence
The Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Lab (B3LAB) offers an environment that provides software developers, data scientists and end users with the tools, libraries, models and services they need for machine learning and deep learning studies through the Safir Intelligence solution.
This environment, in which software development tools and existing machine learning libraries are installed for software developers and data scientists, can be used directly over Safir Cloud or can be raised with container images. In addition, NVIDIA Deep Learning Training System (DIGITS) platform is provided on containers with Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) support, and it is possible for software developers and academics to train display models and visualize their outputs on this platform.
Through the Safir Intelligence platform, models compiled from publications with proven success and high applicability by academic studies are realized on images, videos, text and streaming data and offered to the end user as web services.
In addition to general solutions for end-users, consultancy services are provided by producing on-site detection and customized models for solutions for corporate needs. In order to process confidential data or data that would be problematic to upload to the cloud, it is possible to perform analysis and forecasting by sending the models to the data center.

It is necessary to use additional biometric data in order to prevent the passage of an unauthorized person/personnel by using or copying the card of any personnel authorized to enter the facility/building. DerinGÖRÜ Face Recognition and Intelligent Turnstile System is a more advanced and powerful version of card access systems used in facilities/buildings with its face recognition technology.

It is more important every day that the information that increases exponentially with the technological developments is stored, evaluated and converted into other information and made usable and analysable. Therefore, the evaluation of information, the development of intelligent decision support systems and the application of these capabilities to all sectors with Artificial Intelligence, in which all authorities have agreed that it will be the technology that will determine the future and shape the future, become mandatory.
The Speech and Language Processing Systems Unit, which is part of TÜBİTAK BİLGEM BTE and works in the field of Artificial Intelligence, has an important knowledge base with its expert staff and successful public projects for many years. The Text Analytics product developed within the unit offers successful and flexible solutions to meet the needs of both the public and private sectors.
The basic process with text analytics is to automatically capture and interpret the information contained in documents or texts (news, short or long text, product reviews, social media messages, etc., any structural or non-structural data). In this way, it is possible to evaluate information, which is one of the most basic needs that arise due to the developing technology and the increasing amount of data today.
