DerinGÖRÜ
DerinGÖRÜ Face Recognition Systemis a product developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM with Artificial Intelligence Technologies, "Continuous Learning" and capable of 1-N Face Recognition. Developed with the latest technology by our local engineers, the system is a completely national technology that can perform face recognition day and night.
DerinGÖRÜ Face Recognition System, which has protected the strategic facilities of our country until today, has been customized for earthquake victims with a fast and devoted work.
One of the areas where the chaos and destructive effects of the earthquake show itself the most is the losses about which no reliable information can be obtained.
DerinGÖRÜ Facial Recognition System customized for earthquake victims; The images of the children who were rescued from the wreckage and transported to the hospitals are matched with the images of the children shared on social platforms or reported missing, by biometric analysis. In this way, missing children can be identified much more quickly and their security can be ensured by identifying them.
DerinGÖRÜ Facial Recognition System has been commissioned by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and hundreds of records collected by the system since the first moment of the earthquake ensure that families of earthquake victims can safely find their lost children.
Detection of Debris from Satellite
With the Satellite Debris Detection technology, which we developed to speed up search and rescue activities and support the accurate detection of debris, satellite images are scanned and the locations of the debris are determined. With this technology developed by our remote sensing specialist researchers, debris detection of the buildings destroyed in the Kahramanmaraş Earthquake is currently carried out. In this way, the most accurate information is transferred to the search and rescue teams and more lives are saved.
SES-VER
SES-VER technology, developed by TÜBİTAK, amplifies the voices of people under the debris by purifying it from environmental influences and detects the vitality under the debris.
While every second that passes after the earthquake is very important for saving a life, the process becomes more critical as the waiting time under the debris gets longer. Search and rescue teams listen to the slightest crackling sound from the wreckage. Hunger, thirst and the helplessness brought about by being under the rubble reduce the power of those who are under the rubble and lower their voice. Although all relief efforts are paused to ensure silence, ambient noise can hinder healthy communication.
As the responses to the rescue teams' "Make a Sound" or similar calls are started to be recorded on the application, the ambient noise is eliminated and only the human voice is focused on. Thanks to this application, search and rescue teams can reach the largest possible number of earthquake victims waiting under the rubble.
SMAnalysis
Earthquake moments are times when our people come together and show solidarity in order to minimize the negativity of the disaster. This goodwill of our people is also abused by some individual malicious people. Especially fake aid accounts shared on social media and fake donation campaigns are frequently encountered. TÜBİTAK BİLGEM not only focuses on life health with the critical technologies it has developed, but also does not allow fraudulent activities of malicious people. Thanks to our social media analyses, fake IBAN information, fake aid campaigns are detected, abuse of our well-intentioned people is not allowed, and ultimately the aid is paid.
Images shared in social media applications with the SMAnalysis platform are collected by scanning at regular intervals. These collected images are analyzed by texting, fraudulent activities are detected and reported to the relevant authorities.
