by combinig optics, electronics, mechanical and computer engineering competencies and chemistry-biology-nanotechnology expertise. The development of innovative and groundbreaking new generation diagnostic devices and biochips requires experience in a wide range of fields, from electronic component design and manufacturing to the development of biological testing. Therefore, in the Analytical Devices and Systems Laboratory; a project team and an appropriate laboratory infrastructure was established consisting of researchers from different disciplines such as chemistry, electronics, software and mechanical engineers, bioengineering, molecular biology and genetics. In the very near future, biosensor-based diagnostic devices are considered to be widely used in many areas such as medical diagnosis, bioprocess control, agriculture, food industry and environmental monitoring.
Using technology and device prototypes developed in the concept of Analytical Devices And Systems, exemplary studies have been carried out on such as health, energy, food, forensic applications and environmental safety.
